‘What is life like with Long Covid?’

Monique developed a poster on the impacts of Long Covid to answer the question ‘What is life like with Long Covid?’.

The poster was commissioned to link with a series of illustrated stories shared on Imperial College London’s social media pages as individual slides for each carousel and storyboard poster.

These stories were inspired by the defining Long Covid responses as well as the REACT-LC study interviews and cover the different areas of people’s life that might be impacted by their symptoms.

‘What can Long Covid feel like?’

In 2022 Monique produced a poster entitled ‘What can long covid feel like?’ (see above) visualising the way contributors described their ‘fatigue’, ‘breathlessness’, ‘pain’, ‘tingling/buzzing’ and ‘brain fog’ symptoms, among others.

This poster was disseminated via Imperial College London’s social media online and re-shared by the German Health Minister Dr Karl Lauterbach in 2022.

This poster has been translated into six languages; French, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Hindi

‘Covid Cafe’

In 2023 Monique illustrated flyers promoting the online creative facilitation ‘Covid Cafe’ sessions for people with lived experience of Chronic illness, including Long Covid.

Monique also designed an illustrated Project Evaluation resource summarising participant feedback.
